About Shanon
Shanon Anderson is dedicated to guiding individuals through every phase of the treatment process, from their initial screening to the development of a lifelong recovery plan. As a member of the Client Support team for the Conway outpatient program, Shanon handles vital intake services, client screenings, and case management. Their work is centered on ensuring that every person entering the program feels supported and equipped with the necessary tools for sustainable health.
With over four years of experience in the recovery field, Shanon brings a wealth of practical knowledge to Natural State Recovery Centers. They previously served as a client care technician and a discharge planner, roles that provided a foundational understanding of the complexities of the recovery journey. Currently a Counselor in Training (CIT), Shanon is also deeply involved in advocacy, working with the program development team to promote recovery initiatives at the community, county, and state levels.
Shanon’s commitment to this work is deeply personal, rooted in their own journey of recovery. They view their professional role as a personal amends to society—a mission to help others find healing and reunite families. Outside of work, Shanon is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys camping and building community with like-minded individuals in recovery. They are guided by the poignant mission: "We live for the ones who don't get to."
