About Destiny

Destiny Burge brings a strong blend of professional experience and personal insight to the behavioral health field. Prior to joining Natural State Recovery Centers, she spent over a year with Bradford Health Services, where she supported business development by maintaining relationships with referral partners across hospitals and behavioral health systems. In her role within Emergency Consult Services (ECS), she conducted in-person patient assessments and worked closely with admissions teams to coordinate treatment placement.

Destiny began her career as a Peer Support Specialist, becoming a Certified Advanced Peer and Supervisor-in-Training. While her role has evolved beyond direct one-on-one peer services, her foundation in recovery continues to guide her work. As someone in recovery herself, she is passionate about helping others find support, connection, and a path forward.

Outside of her professional work, Destiny is actively involved in a 12-step fellowship, where she engages in service work and sponsors women in recovery. She enjoys cooking, creating art, and spending time with her pets—including her dachshund, Mr. Jones, and her two cats.
