About David

David Laser serves as a Lead Therapist with the residential clinical team at Natural State Recovery Centers. Since entering the substance use treatment field in 2018, David has dedicated his career to helping individuals better understand addiction, rebuild their lives, and discover a path toward lasting recovery. In his role, he provides individual counseling, facilitates therapeutic groups, develops individualized treatment plans, and helps clients identify the tools needed to continue growing beyond treatment.

David brings a unique combination of education, professional experience, and a passion for helping others create meaningful change. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and an Executive MBA from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ADC). Before entering the behavioral health field, David gained valuable experience in leadership, communication, and problem-solving, which now supports his ability to connect with clients from all walks of life.

David believes recovery is about much more than overcoming substance use — it is about rediscovering hope, purpose, connection, and learning how to participate fully in one’s own life. His work is guided by the belief that a person’s past does not have to define their future and that change is always possible. Outside of work, David enjoys reading, walking, Razorback sports, spending time with friends and family, personal growth, and staying active in the recovery community.
