What Sets Us Apart

The Comprehensive Model

Unlike other facilities or programs, NSRC bridges the gap between inpatient treatment and assimilation back into a post-treatment setting. A 30-day stay at a traditional inpatient program is often not long enough for effective recovery support. Our program ensures a continuity of care beyond a typical inpatient stay and is designed to help the person stay on track for lifelong recovery. Our 90-day outpatient program combines three recovery supports, which are clinical treatment, recovery housing , and life skills training. Our clinical treatment model includes a partial day treatment program and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). In addition, clients receive mental health services and individual counseling sessions for a greater positive impact on future success. At the men's and women's sober living spaces, they can begin to build a sustainable recovery foundation. Remember, it is difficult to get well  in an environment that led to illness. Once a person is progressing and becoming stable, we begin to build the life they crave through many life skills training opportunities.

Our therapeutic approach uses a balanced blend of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Recovery Dynamics, Living in Balance, Relapse Prevention, Early Recovery Skills, Family Education, Yoga and Meditation, Nutrition and Fitness, and action oriented activities to assist the client and their families to build a solid recovery foundation. For clients choosing the housing option, we provide a structured, loving environment which includes collaboration with a 12-step program and 24/7 access to a highly trained staff. Our life skills training program provides career development, college exploration, financial literacy, and community engagement. In short, the combination of our program components and how our program is delivered set us apart and fills a gap within the recovery process that other programs haven’t addressed.
